Haina Patel OD, FAAO

Dr. Patel received her Honors Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto in 2013. She then attended the SUNY College of Optometry in New York City, where she graduated in 2017. As an optometry student, Dr. Patel was a member of the Lions Club, and regularly volunteered to provide vision screenings at a local homeless shelter and the Special Olympics. She was also a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. Following graduation, Dr. Patel completed a residency specializing in ocular disease through the Ohio State College of Optometry.

Dr. Patel is a member of the American Optometric Association, Ohio Optometric Association, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.

Dr. Patel strongly believes in delivering compassionate and comprehensive care to all of her patients. Her interests include managing diseases such as dry eye, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.

Dr. Patel is a native of Toronto, Canada, and is passionate about traveling and trying new foods from around the world. She currently resides in Ontario with her husband, Dr. Pratik Patel MD, who practices at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. They are looking forward to laying down new roots in the area, where they can continue to serve the Mansfield community.
